Hi,
I have an NDMA file created with Cheetah 64 in an acquisition with a patient. This file was created during acquisition, and we realized later-on that we accidentally did not RECORD the CSC files. I recall that one can play back the NDMA file and now press the RECORD and just 'recreate' the CSC files from the NDMA. I downloaded the DEMO Cheetah and put the NDMA file in the DemoFile folder, but I realized that the new Cheetah now takes .NRD files rather than NDMA. Is there a way for me to use the NEW Cheetah to just read the NDMA file and record the CSC files from it ? Basically - my question is what needs to happen in order to take a 32 channels (I have 2 ndma files for each 1-32 / 33-64 channels) and replay that ? Thanks, Moran Cerf Computation and Neural Systems, Caltech and Department of Neurosurgery, UCLA |

You will not be able to run the NDMA file in the raw data file playback mode of Cheetah 5.xx or greater. The file format was changed to a NRD file which is not backwards compatible with the Cheetah 4.xx software.
To create CSC's from the 2 NDMA files (1 per DT card) from the Cheetah 64 you should be able to play back the files in Cheetah 4.xx software and record them one at a time. I will run some internal tests to see if there is anything special to convert them into one file with 64 CSC's. |

Hi,
I might be doing something wrong, but I playback my nrd files in the office, and for some reason I don't get any CSC files. I looked through the log file created and cannot figure out why. Is there a setting somewhere for that? Thank you. |

Even though you are playing back a raw data file, you will still need to select a proper electrode setup file in the main cheetah.cfg. In the cheetah.cfg you can select a startup file that has CSC acquisition entities.
Please contact support@neuralynx.com if you have any further questions. |

I did that now and it worked. Thank you.
