Default Matlab routines for analyzing place fields?

Hey Everyone,
I imagine that there are many neuralynx users who record place cells in the hippocampus, so I am trying to fish around for some matlab routines that would save me some time. Basically our lab has cobbled together some code writen in c, others on the .net platform, and still more in matlab. The way forward is for us to move mostly into matlab, because it is simply easier to learn and modify. With that said, does anyone have matlab routines that would do the basic place field analyses? Saptial information, sparsity, field size, coherence etc.? With our other tools, we can load data in and produce matrices of data (rate maps), so the data are in the right form and I just need the code for analyzing them. Also, if anyone does have a good matlab program for loading in and processing nlx data (especially one that can work in batch) I would really like to look at it and compare with what I have. I know this is a shot in the dark, but I would really appreciate any help! you can email at rowland@uoneuro.uoregon.edu.
Thanks
Dave Rowland
