The heart of our system, the Cheetah Data Acquisition and Experiment Control software is completely configurable by the user to support single-electrode, stereotrode and tetrodes spike channels, as well as Continuously Sampled Channels (CSC), in any combination up to 160 channels. Real-time spike and CSC displays, in addition to online real-time auto clustering of individual cells, provide the researcher with precise tools for evaluating the quality of experiment data.
