Electrodes and Tetrodes

Gold NC (Non Cyanide) Solution for gold plating tetrodes and other electrophysiology electrodes. Designed for use with the fixtures in the Tetrode Assembly Station.

The Tetrode Assembly Station is designed to aid in creating your own tetrodes. For tetrode wire dispensing and protection, the station includes a ball bearing dispenser rod with a cover to protect the spool during storage. A detachable sterotaxic stand is mounted to the base board to hold EIBs while you make your tetrodes. The final item in this kit is a tetrode spinner with a digital spin counter. This spinner can spin both clockwise and counter clockwise and spins the tetrode wire using a magnetically attached alligator clip. By being magnetically attached, there is no risk of stretching your tetrode wire during spinning. The Tetrode Assembly Station can be used for creating twisted wire electrodes of any type, not just tetrodes.
