Cheetah Data Acquisition Hardware - 32 channels

The Cheetah32 works in conjunction with the Lynx-8 amplifiers and the Digital Interface box to provide from 8 to up to 32 channels of analog signal acquisition at 32KHz. Two Cheetah32s can be combined to support up to 64 acquisition channels. Each Cheetah32 also features the ability to output two analog signals and a 16 bit, bidirectional TTL port.

The Digital Interface box provides timestamp synchronization for the Cheetah32 Data Acquisition system. Easy access to each connected Cheetah32's TTL ports is provided for monitoring or control of experiments. A BNC timestamp clock output is also provided to synchronize external equipment.

An Electrode Reference Panel (ERP) provides manual reference selection, external signal input ports, and headstage power controls for a Neuralynx acquisition system. The ERP-27 supports up to four Lynx-8 Amplifiers, eight external input signals ( each with their own reference inputs), five configurable global references, and two bipolar external stimulus inputs.

The Lynx-8 amplifier control package provides a link between the Lynx-8 amplifier and a PC, allowing the software control of gain and both high and low pass filters. An open PCI slot is required for installation. It is compatible with both the Cheetah Data Acquisition software and the stand alone amplifier control program.

The Lynx-8 is an eight channel amplifier whose gain and both high and low pass filter values are controlled by either the Cheetah Data Acquisition software or the stand alone amplifier control program. A differential input port allows the amplifier to also subtract a reference value from the input signal prior to filtering or amplification. Lynx-8 amplifiers are intended for use with Neuralynx Analog acquisition systems and require power from the Lynx-8 Power Supply, sold separately.
